Effective Infection Control in Hospitals

Every hospital has infection control policies that must be followed strictly to avoid the spread of any infection within the premises. An infection is the colonization of the organisms’ body by parasites. The parasites use the host’s resources and this result to diseases. Risks of infection can never be totally eradicated that simple and patients admitted therein are too vulnerable to the infection than the rest of the occupants. Various types of infections such as lung and urinary tract can be acquired easily during the entire stay in the hospital. Infection control in hospitals should be taken seriously so as not to further spread the infections that lead to disease.
